Christopher J. Solger was born and raised in Cary, Illinois. He attended Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. He earned Dean's List honors in Fall 2008, Spring 2008, Fall 2009 and Fall 2011. After completing undergraduate studies, Christopher attended Southern Illinois University College of Law. While attending law school, Christopher earned Dean's List honors in Fall 2014 and Fall 2015. Christopher was also an active member of the Southern Illinois Trial Team, competing in trials across the United States.
After admission to the Illinois Bar in October 2016, Christopher began working at the Winnebago County Public Defender's Office as an Assistant Public Defender in DUI court handling major traffic and DUI cases from initial appearance to resolution. He has handled several DUI and felony traffic cases at jury trial with successful results for his clients. Christopher left the Public Defender's Office in Winnebago County and began to assist clients for the Lake County Public Defender's Office again handling a variety of criminal cases from appearance to resolution. Christopher left the Lake County Public Defender's Office and began to work at Albert A. Altamore & Associates, P.C.
Christopher lives in Cary, Illinois with his wife Ariel. Outside of work, Christopher enjoys spending time with his family, the Cubs, the Bears, and playing music.
